AFL Drafts.

Hey guys. Don't know how many of you are interested in the u/18 footy but there was been a big increase of support and more supporters are starting to pay much more attention of what types of players they want at their club.

I've recently been doing a few blogs for ThisIsAFL which is a new site and has mostly all the decent BF posters on it. It would be really helpful to see some feedback on my work to see where i can improve on.

Really enjoyed reading that.

Wingard has been impressive aswell as Smith for Vic Country.

Is there any heights or weights on the players yet? I guess wait until Draft combine to get all that as it will be recorded then.

Love watching them play! imo O'Meara will be in a Perth club at the end of the year. What do you think WC would give up for him?

I would expect some draft picks swapped & a senior player traded. Hard to tell with half the season still to be completed as to which player could be traded.

Yeah fair enough. This years draft isn't great and WC might not to able to pick up a quality youngest with the pick they get compared to other years.

It'll probably be easier to trade your 1st + a top 20 player in your team for O'Meara who will be a top 5 pick in next years draft. It's a risk/reward but mostly in your favor. So really you end up getting O'Meara + your first rounder in 2012.
