    ROCKLIFF, TOM

Thoughts of him becoming a premium this season? Prospectus labels him the "Dane Swan" of the future. Is the future now?

I enjoyed watching him play in 2010, reads the play extremely well and enjoyed time in the midfield due to Brisbanes injuries.
With some key departures he could very well put up similair numbers to 2010, though he is very likely fulled priced and I'm not too familiar with his upside. Might be better options considering his price tag.

Had him in my side at the end of last year and it was fabulous. Its great when you are subbing on a player and he pops out a 100+. He then found his way to starting in my side.

While he will be a good player I don't think the mids are the place to take a gamble on him. Though, if he was a bit cheaper he may have been worth the risk.

Can definitely see him pushing over 90 this year but don't see him going over that until Brisbane are a better functioning side.

Give him another year or two for mine but is an absolute DT slut, the Swan comparison not an awful one, though I perhaps prefer a Boyd comparison. Either way those that were lucky enough to have him last year really benefitted... smh at missing that one!

I guess it's weighing up whether the scoring potential is worth the price tag, and the small sample size i.e one year doesn't make him that attractive an option. At best, he could become a top 10 forward and justify a spot in your team, at worst second year blues (I know he's been around for longer but 2nd year at AFL level) would strike and you'd lose a trade + cash. He's not a pick I'd make but I could certainly understand his selection in a team.

Only Mid this year. Probably worth a bit more consideration he was a DPP.

Plays for brisbane. Not many premiums at bottom of the ladder teams. Very risky. Love watching him play though and still get kicks about having him for the entire season practically.

Is certainly a player to watch but I wouldn't select him this year in the mids with better premiums ahead of him. Wouldn't surprise me as others have said that his scoring this year could be very similar to last year and I think teams will take more notice of him now after a great year in 2010. Key players like Black and the departure of others (Riska) makes Rockcliffe a target for opposition teams now if they feel he is a threat in the midfield.

    Bump.

Picked him at the start and hasn't let me down since. Averages 102 and would have been 105+ if not for his injury against North. At 360K at the start it was a risk worth taking.

Also picked him, the injury hurt but hopefully can get back to form. Scored 95 against Carlton but we really dominated possession so hopefully this week a nice 115+ score

Strongly considering bringing him in this week, at a cheap price for what he can offer

Yeah go for it. There will also get you 95-100 most weeks with the occasional 120+ game.

I reckon K. Jack could be an option too at similar price, he was looking very good at start of year I thought.

T-rock continues to provide excellent no.s for his intial price. SC wise he is on the 'watch list' for a starting M4 position in my side already for next season, obviously depends on his price but just reckon he's going to keep improving.
