    Round 5 Trades

Another week where I'll probably end up talking myself into rolling the dice with Dunkley again come Thursday/Friday and lose out yet again.

In terms of rookies, Hore and Stack come to mind as two that are on the bubble. Thought Hore really passed the eye test on Thursday night and am quite keen to get him in after seeing what I saw. Feel like there's room for him and May in that backline and May is still a couple of weeks out I think. JS still isn't great though and he could easily go out again, but I really liked what I saw.

Jumped on early with Stack myself to benefit from all those big Richmond outs and boy did that payoff... I haven't seen him play in either game but a big score and a shit score has him in an awkward spot. Someone that's seen both his games will be able to comment better than myself.

With how poor many of the rookies are scoring, they're either super slow burners or will need to be turned over a couple of times to generate the cash required.

    Round 5 Trades

No obvious trades this week so unlikely to do anything. SC rookies not making enough cash to provide anything even remotely appealing.

    Re: Round 5 Trades

I can trade Drew and Butters to Marshall and Stack in SC. I am very tempted. For the third game in a row I've been impressed by Marshall. I'm wishing I'd done it last round.

Have the money to trade Sheed to Neale this week. But only by around 10k, so it’s this week or wait till he drops. He is looking straight beastly this year though, might be the Macrae of 2019. Gaff is going to really limit Sheeds output sadly.

    In RDT looking at
Williams and Butter to Rocky and Hore

Watching Rocky rack up 100's with ease is too much to take as a non owner, and thanks to his concussion game has only gone up $40k from his starting price.
Doubt Williams is going to hit premium numbers and isn't going to make much cash either, 4 games and yet to go 90+.

    Re: Round 5 Trades

Williams and Smith are basically maxed out in DT (Smith maybe a little more to go) and I can't quite decide if i want to move them first or rookies.

They've got the chance to put up good numbers but are only averaging 70-75 odd. Rookies aren't scoring as high but are cheaper so will cost more to upgrade and are still rising in price more than the above two.

Also cant decide if I bite the bullet on Lloyd or focus on Laird/Simpson whilst they're dropping in value.

Need that about as much as I need a hole to the head.

Had he put up another of his poor 50 odd scores I'd be trading but since he hit 70 odd in DT, makes it a little tougher.

    Re: Round 5 Trades

Anyone else find it laughable that Setterfield gets two weeks for a tackle yet Martin punches a guy off the ball and gets his reduced to one? We all know that if Carlton this is the one they'll uphold given it was actually a football play vs something that should be stomped out of the game and should be completely undefendable once the first sentence is given. Also thought the North guy getting one week for his poor spoil on Jones was pretty rough as well.

Not especially keen on starting Burgess or Parker in place of Setterfield for the next two weeks.Could take a gamble on Ross and bring him in early for Constable, which would let me trade Setterfield to Marshall, or maybe Newnes who looks good on the wing. Newnes might be the safer bet and would be a D6 keeper if he maintains the 95 average.

Constable still has a negative BE, and is averaging 82. No way would I cut him to avoid a couple Parker scores.
This post was more than likely SC based.
If in doubt, assume it was.
