Over the whole of last year Zerrett was 16DT/10SC below his past 2 seasons but post bye he was 3DT below and 3SC above (+13 over season in both) his past 2 seasons, so I'd normally consider him a lock this season but I'm having a tough time working out if Shiel coming in will actually benefit him, hurt him, or basically be a wash.

Blakely, if fit and with back status will be a lock, IMO.

I know, he's about the last good thing in my Legacy team

Be interesting to see how he is priced. Could even be the rookie ruck if cheap enough. Probably just be based off previous price in which case he'd be a hard choice.

Everyone's favourite ruck loophole has been delisted, along with 5 others for WCE. Olango leaves, along with Partington, Karpany and rookies England, Burrows and Bayok.

Retirements and delistings have been updated. Collingwood and GWS still yet to make changes apart from Griffen retiring for GWS. Carlton so far the biggest movers with 12 changes to their list. If including trades and FA, GC, Melb, Nth, Port have also made 10+ changes to their list.

    Some more changes today.

Leuenberger retires, whilst Menzel and Murdoch are delisted by Geelong. Robinson and Marsh have also been let go by Sydney. Collingwood's Kirby is expected to be forced to retire with a heart issue that he sustained earlier this year.

Today the Dogs delisted Campbell and Honeychurch and North delisted Alex Morgan.

With Roughead and Campbell both gone, it will be interesting to see if the WB look to bring one in over the draft period, or if they rely on who they have and if need be, use the midseason rookie draft next year for short term cover.

The first trade of the pick-only period of trading has been completed.

Collingwood trade pick 51 to Geelong for picks 59 and 60. The trade gives Collingwood 45 more points to try and match for Quaynor and Kelly. Geelong will be hoping 51 is a live pick and they can match a bid on Brownless after that point.

Re: 2018 AFL Free Agency/Draft/List Changes

Jarryd Lyons delisted by GC! Also delisted Leslie

“We added real depth to our midfield during the trade period and as a result Jarryd understands that his opportunities would be increasingly limited due to the additions of these players and our desire to play and develop the young midfield talent already on our list,” List & Strategy Manager Craig Cameron said.

“With that being the case, the club and Jarryd have had a mature discussion and agree that another club may offer him greater opportunity to play in the midfield in the future.
