    Round 14 Trades

Ahern in should be a lock for just about everyone I'd imagine, handy DPP.

Think I'll make my final midfield upgrade and bring Kelly in. Curnow is the other option, not really sold on either but Kelly at least has some stronger scoring history. Macrae would be great and will fall but could miss a couple and a 200 breakeven to go, will be a few weeks off.

Seeds has certainly dropped off since missing the game, possibly not right -
Adelaide's extensive injury list looked like it might grow, with Sam Gibson (hamstring) and Paul Seedsman (hip) both rotating on and off the field due to injury concerns.
Is worth noting that he did have 24 touches v Freo when he only scored 68 DT, 0 tackles was why his score was trash, think it sort of helps him somewhat though ad it's kind of 2 bad weeks in a 3 week period rather then everything been poor post byes. Week off might help with his hip, along with the chance of Laird, Lynch, Sloane and Brown (and maybe Knight) all to return, might see Adelaide start to look a little more competitive and help him Seeds being able to shine.

For mine, the best replacement option is McDonald but he'll cost ~150k if you're upgrading Seeds. I kind of like the idea of grabbing Joel Smith in the midfield and moving Austin to McDonald to turn Seeds into a D7/M9 but I've basically got a fresh batch of rookies, requiring the likes of Ridley and T.Smith (along with Austin) to start playing to make some cash. Along with the dream of also working Macrae into the midfield, it won't all be possible. Hard to figure out what the objective should be.

    Anyways, have at it!

    In: Ahern, Crisp and Kelly
    Out: Banfield, L.Murphy and Macrae

Macrae out for a month, pretty much makes him a must trade for mine. Taking Crisp as my final back upgrade, his recent form is insanely good and the Pies have a very easy next month.

These trades will finish my team technically, with Doedee/Austin as back cover, Ahern/Spargo mid cover and Guelfi/Smith forward cover.

    Re: Round 14 Trades

Those trades look good, have been very impressed with Crisps form since Wheedus brought him in and brought him to my attention. Never realised he got legit midfield minutes but that definitely adds a lot to his value, especially given their easy run coming up soon.

I have one trade locked in at this stage, Holman to Ahern. Holman has an 82 BE so has done his job, leaves me with 300k. Outside that, not sure - I still need a back and a mid, but thinking I should target Lloyd which means waiting a week.

Yeah I'm keen on Crisp as well, held of doing a back upgrade so I could make him my last one in both comps.
Prefer someone who plays midfield rather than a KP such as TMac.

    Re: Round 14 Trades

Richards keeps bobbing up with a 100 every few weeks, which means his price keeps rising. Might as well hold him again this week.
Only trade I'm looking at at this stage is Holman to Clayton Oliver.
Will go Richards to Lloyd or similar next week.
This post was more than likely SC based.
If in doubt, assume it was.

    Re: Round 14 Trades

Have really destroyed my team with poor planning this year so best I can manage this week is Doedee to Brayshaw which leaves me with exactly zero dollars left.
I am then a downgrade/upgrade away to having a finished side with 5 trades left.
Looked at Hurley but was going to need cash for that and that'd probably mean taking a chance on a Wines type and flicking Parker on.

Guess comes down to whether I want possibly a better mid and defender and 1 less trade. Fair chance Brayshaw and Parker beat Hurley & Wines anyway though.

    Re: Round 14 Trades

Some positive news about teams for a change.

Both of Melbourne's Smiths have touched down in Adelaide. Spargo also in the City of Churches #SuperCoach
Also no Pederson has been mentioned.

    T. Smith would be a great in. Would give me 21 on the ground.

Anyone know much about Mihocek? Would love a basement price rookie!

Edit: looks like he's straight out of the side once Reid comes back (potentially next week)

    Re: Round 14 Trades

Ended up getting Jake Brown from Sydney. Could only afford a bottom price rookie to get robbie gray in without using a 3rd trade. Will use brown on my midfield bench as a mid/fwd swingman
