Zac Giles Langdon out for a few weeks

Leon on Zac Langdon: he’s got a crack in his hand and will miss about a month. The good thing is at least he can run, but we’ve now got to find a small forward.

I salute him for coming back on in DT (covering for Greene) and scoring a decent amount.

Not sure if I use a trade to move Langdon to Ryan and move Matt Crouch next week or just sit on Langdon until he returns.

    Re: Round 3 Trades

I've got Matt Crouch in SC so I think the simple play is using his injury to capitalise on the fact that I don't have Cogs in that format.

My second trade I'm up in the air on. Have the likes of Langdon/Hibberd who are both issues for separate reasons. Could move on a Ryan or Bonner type if I want. Will wait and see how I feel after the end of the week.

If Langdon misses a month that is basically a month's worth of price rises from someone else. You can basically downgrade Ryan to Langdon again in Round 7ish for bulk $$$

Jack Higgins from Richmond will make his debut this round.
Should be our first rookie downgrade target, perhaps a week too early but will still work.

How far away is Daniel Rioli? Shame Higgins couldn't wait until Round 4 to debut haha.

I'd be weary of any early trade ins, but if he gets to week 3, looks close to a must, averaged most points of any draftee last year

Think I heard it mentioned that Rioli was due back between rounds 8-10.

    Re: Round 3 Trades

It's strange having no flat out shithouse midpricers in my teams after round 2 - especially SC given I went into the season with 270k in the bank.

Have Crouch out so I could obviously push him straight to Dangerfield and use ~150k of that but also considering bringing in Coniglio which would leave me with 426k in hand. Will move Langdon who could also go to any forward premium but I was going to grab Ryan and ride another cash cow. Just strange having no real urgency to use the cash straight away.

And just quickly, was looking at Dangerfield's SC scores last season, hows his little patch between round 9-18. From this 9 game period, he had a low of 141 SC and an average of 152.5 during that time

Also, trying to figure out trades without ffgenie is shithouse, don't even know where you can see breakevens without it - I guess the premium RDT feature but you still can't put in scores to get price changes (that I'm aware of) or have it anywhere near as usable as ffgenie was.

too serious has breakevens and projections that are usually fairly accurate. different format this year and still getting used to it. Looks like you need to apply filters when you click on individual players to get dt breakevens. here's gaz's for instance

RDT: Only one forced trade and that's Giles-Langdon to either Banfield (Garlett fwd) or Gowers. Leaning Banfield at this stage. Don't have the cash to move Naughton to anyone better, so will hold him for now. Looking at pulling the trigger on Treloar this week, even if he plays. Coniglio seems the obvious choice given his price and the fact that he keeps the same bye. Would leave me with $200k next week which is a little bit of an issue as I have nowhere particularly to use it.

Has naughton looked that bad as a player or more his scoring that you're concerned about?
