As tempting as Ryan will be he's the perfect round 14 trade in.

    Re: Round 11 Trades

Someone who hasn't really been mentioned here at all is Ollie Wines. Started the season like a house on fire, averaging 121 after 5 games (four 120+, one 90). Since then he has gone 56, 70, 86 and a bounce back 110 last week. Currently averaging 103, prices at 469k in SC.

Was having a look at his stats, the disparity between high and low games was usually clearances and marks. Games with 6+ clearances he has gone 110+.

The 56 he scored was vs the Lions - he had just the 20 possessions, 8 clangers and a ratio of 80:56 in an 80 point win. Seems like he lost out on all scaling and the clanger so killed his score. A 56 would normally be a huge turnoff but I think there's solid reasons for it.

Was someone that I was keeping a close eye since his hot start - at 469k and playing all the bye rounds, I think I'm jumping on. Has the Hawks this week too.

Historically, He has always thrown in a few shockers a year (sub 70). I don't see much reason to think that will change this year. Having had him in the past, he's a reason that your year goes backwards come the tail end of the year.

    Re: Round 11 Trades

Players develop though. He has the markings for a breakout year - lost weight/improved fitness, much better and more relevant team.

His season has pretty closely mirrored Joel Selwood to this point. Both averaging 121-123 after 5, both had a 3 game stretch of well unders. Selwood averaged 82 during 3 game stretch, Wines 71 (that Brisbane game being the outlier). Both bounced back since. Obviously doesn't mean much, but his year has been pretty solid outside that one outlier of a game. Average of 109 outside the Lions game. Plus the extra premium score over the bye rounds is probably worth 4-5 points on the season average which puts him into definite m8 range.

Just finding that 469k is too much value to ignore.

Sounds like Sandi is a very good chance to be back this week.

Going early on Cousins, looked good last week and the Hawks style of footy should allow him to score okay. Only really need him throughout the byes.

Make sure we remember partial lock-out lads.

Reverse your trades (obviously), but get your VC on a hawk or port player and if you are going Cousins don't forget to get that done (I almost got caught out by that one!)

Same with any Ryder trade ins. Doesn't leave long between teams for the weekend and the Thurs night game!

    Re: Round 11 Trades

Article I saw with a quote from Ross, said they will "give him every chance". Says to me he will be named regardless and will be a late out if not right.

In DT, Hampton -> Scharenberg and Newman -> Laird. Will probably have 21, so probably won't do a third trade.

SC so far is Newman -> Scharenberg and Powell-Pepper -> Sloane. May also go Sandi -> Martin, but not sure as yet.
