Surely Paddy Ryder (R/F) is worth a look in SC? Averaging 97.3 for the season and 116 over last 3 (95, 139, 115). $493,300 BE 36.

Yep he is someone im looking at very closely. Has had a pretty decent run of opponents - Sandi, Jacobs, Kreuzer and Witts, gets easier from here. Is in great form, covers the rucks and you miss a bye. Was looking at Lynch for my final forward spot but I think Ryder fits much better.

And great coverage for rucks too.

@Athomas , I have been doing some research on Harbrow & I am assuming this is part of why you like him over Pittard in SC :-

Pittard is averaging 86.6 whilst Harbrow is averaging 98.3 which included a poor game v the crows in which he scored only 67. Harbrow has scored 100 or more in every game this except the crows game - I haven't seen much of the suns play this year so wondering if he has had a role change or is he just finding the footy much more this year as I am very tempted by him but concerned that the highest he has ever averaged in SC before was 85.4 in 2010.

Should be fine, but Bellchambers kicked 6 in the VFL on the weekend

For those who were considering Wingard (ie. me), he's out this week and possible another week.

Oh yeah, it's basically all based on his scores this year (and his bye round having already passed.) that made me interested.

I picked him up in draft so have noticed his consistency (except for the Crows game, but as a ranking of a Suns player he was still in the top half).

I haven't watched much of the Suns either

His durability was better than I expected (21 last year, good enough for me ) but yeah it's his scoring potential we need to analyse.

    Re: Round 10 Trades

With Harbrow the issue has always been consistency not ceiling. He's scored 100+ against every team other than Ess and Melb (who they happen to be playing this week) and he's punched out some big scores in the past - 147 (Bris), 135 (Frem), 131 (WB), so he definitely knows how to score. I haven't watched enough GC games this year to comment on his role and the reason for the consistency so far. He's certainly been racking up the possessions - low of 23 in Rd 4 where he scored 101sc and a high of 35 last week for 105sc. Even in the Crows game, he picked up 25. In terms of ratio, it's pretty close to 1:1 so there's some room to move on efficiency. He's averaging close to 6 marks a game but tackles are low so winter / wet weather may see his scores drop off. Great POD pick but for $20k more I'd probably still go Ryder.

Well shit. Traded Witts last week to avoid a donut, now looking at a donut with Sandi out.

Only have Sandi in SC and with trades from last week Nank is currently in my rucks along with Witts so I can just leave him there if I want, which is nice.

    Re: Round 10 Trades

Downgrades gonna be a little tricky if you're looking at a GWS player (Sunday) to fund a Port or Geel player (Thurs night). At least SJ (and Lobb) out should mean Lloyd holds his spot.
