    Round 9 Trades

Need some rookies to pop up so I can cash in on some players.

    Re: Round 9 Trades

Haven't really looked at his price or position yet but that Lloyd that debuted for Gws on the weekend could be an option coming up given the Giants growing injury tally. A lot of medium to longer term stints on the sidelines starting to build up on that list.

SPP > Myers for me as an obvious trade. Almost glad I didn't go early so I at least have someone to trade in this week

    Re: Round 9 Trades

    Myers the obvious target.

Durdin the more left of field target, playing a role that could produce some decent scores and top pick so they should be running with him in a rebuild.

Few downgrade targets next week as well though none I'd even contemplate going early on due to JS issues, but I'd be scheduling 3 downgrades over the next two weeks unless you're swimming in cash or the teams throw big targets at us (can't think of any more to come really).

    Re: Round 9 Trades

Thoughts on Kobe Stevens? Scores of 106 and 108 in his first two matches against Hawthorn and GWS. It is worth noting against Hawthorn St Kilda had 10 players score 11+ (with Newnes at 99) - must be close to most amount of 100s by a team in a match? Against GWS he was 1 of 7 100's, both were wins as well.

Looks like he's had a few patches against the Dogs where he's gone a few weeks of 100+ scores and finished the season with 82-85 avg from 12 games each season which is alright. I haven't seen him play in either match so I can't comment on how he's actually looked.

Heeney is the other obvious choice who yet again had another strong game (didn't see it, going off fantasy points). Think I'll possibly grab one of these two this week, wait for Treloar/Sloane to drop and grab one/both for my mids and hope Doch somehow had a bad game or two to become affordable.

I'd also like to think with Adelaide's back to back pathetic performance, we'll maybe see some changes which should see Greenwood come into the side.

    Re: Round 9 Trades

With Koby Stevens sharing the bye with Macrae, Dahlhaus, Nick R, Franklin, Heeney and Steele I reckon he's not worth consideration until R12 at earliest.

    Otten>Myers
    Parsons/Butler>Dusty

Parsons likely to get dropped so I will be facing a donut. Not the most efficient use of cash, however.

    Re: Round 9 Trades

Parsons had two tackles before HT from Cats 12 tackles. Most had 0. Hoping he somehow survives
    Also kicked a goal? #clutching

    Re: Round 9 Trades

    yeah Parsons was terrible.

He's relatively expensive at 178k (RDT)/169k (SC), but James Stewart an option for next week from the rookies. Looked very strong. As a KPF though, scoring will be inconsistent.

I went early on Myers so I am struggling for a downgrade this week.
    Stewart is an option

    Re: Round 9 Trades

Really liked Stewart's game. Looked very mobile for a big man. He's not going to kick three every week but everything he did was polished (90% eff). 4 tackles and 5 contested possessions certainly helped his cause too.

Also, a big shout out to @Elvs1 for talking up Berry. This from Supercoach site:

YOUNG GUN: JARROD BERRY - Berry has been handed plenty of midfield minutes in recent weeks, finishing with a season-high 71 SuperCoach points against the Hawks. He recorded 13 disposals, nine uncontested possessions, four tackles, three inside-50s and one goal from 76 per cent game time. Berry attended 22 centre bounces, ranked second for the Lions.
