not an ideal thing to happen at this time of season just before pre season trial games begin.

    Just came across this :-
Quote from Richmond assistant Justin Leppitsch.
"I think Shai (Bolton) is going to be a good one for those #SuperCoach guys out there."
SC is FFC's number 1 fantasy game

PORT Adelaide rookie Dan Houston is emerging as a round-one bolter for the Power as they search for a replacement for injured defender Jasper Pittard.Houston's impressive form across half-back has been one of positives to come out of the JLT Community Series.
The 19-year-old's accurate kicking and decision making under pressure has been superb – he has recorded 96 per cent disposal efficiency in the Power's two pre-season losses.
"He was a forward his first year and towards the end of last year they put him down back and he did some good things," Power assistant coach Brendon Lade said on Monday.
"He's showed some really good signs and he kicks the ball as well as anyone.
"He's defending really well at the moment, so he's pressing his claims to put his hand up for selection."
Houston and mature-aged forward Brett Eddy are the favourites to snare the two available spots on the Power's senior list.

So many rookies popping up, going to be a heavy guns and rookies year for me most likely.

    Re: Forward Rookies

Port seem to be a rookie gold mine this year.
    Eddy, Houston, Atley, Powell-Pepper.
Sucks that Bonner played round 23, or he'd be a great pick too.

    Re: Forward Rookies

Atley looked pretty good in the guts on Sunday. Takes the game on and makes pretty good decisions when he has the ball in his hands.
Could possibly be a replacement for B Ebert in the future.

North is the same. EVW, Simpkin, Durdin and maybe Mountford/Hibberd looking likely.

Nice when a couple of clubs decide to have a rebuild lol.

What's Kane Turner's job security like at North?
Has played all 3 JLT games and worked into it nicely.
27/32, 52/62, 88/102 priced at 181/171k with North rebuilding should be a good chance.

I Can't see any reason why he wouldn't be best 22.

Think he should be able to score at least around the 55-60 mark most weeks.

    Re: Forward Rookies

Agreed, Turner's JS is more than fine, especially with Wood out (not sure how long Wood is out.)

Scoring potential the issue, but he can score multiple goals like he did on the weekend to boost his score.

Brett Eddy has been elevated to the main list at Port. All but locks in his place for Rd 1 and all our teams.

    Re: Forward Rookies

Seems to be quite a few options in the premium forward rookie spot this year. Turner, Hoskin-Elliot, McCarthy, Simpkin, Florent, Bowes, Menzel, Knight, McCluggage, Taranto and Smedts all look like they could be decent options.
Probably really can only pick one of them, two at the most. I currently have Hoskin-Elliot, because he looks to have the most defined and lucrative role.
Could be a position where an advantage can be gained if we select the right option.

    Re: Forward Rookies

Good news I guess. From memory he scored pretty well in JLT 1 but not the others. Small forward role is not usually fantasy friendly for rookies.
    Only ever talking SC
