Woosha has said that the players are tired and need a break. It's likely that he's going to rotate the playing list over the last 4 weeks with most, if not all, getting a rest at some point. This means you're going to have to expect Zerrett and Zaha to miss a game at some point, likewise if you still have Hams, Brown, Walla, Dea etc.

Looking for a straight trade for Libba in SC. 10k in the bank so looking at 392k or less.

Have got the 3 trades left, so could potentially do a double swap, but would probably prefer the single trade.

Steve Motlop looking the most likely at the minute. Still has Essendon, Richmond and Brisbane to come in the final four games.
Other main option would be Ebert, who has bottomed out in price due to that concussion 10 pter.

Reckon I'll go Motlop unless there is another out at teams and I need a double trade.

With 3 rounds after these trades, I think you're better off going the double and getting someone really good. A mid rookie to Menegola then Libba to a Sloane/Selwood/JPK type. I guess it depends on the rest of your team but I think using the extra trade is better than Motlop over the above.

I would avoid Trading in Selwood. The Cats have a pretty easy run home (although it is arguable it is harder as we lose to bottom 8 teams) and I feel Selwood will get a rest or two.

Tossing up between Lynch and Montagna. Lynch has the upside and certainly a nice POD. Montagna probably more consistent, although some of his recent scores have been a bit up and down. Both have decent draws.

Montagna hasn't missed a game all year which is good and bad. My fear is he'll get rested once St.K is out of contention, which could happen tonight.

Main concern with Lynch is supply.

I'm genuinely on the fence between these two so would appreciate others' views
If you're not worried about a rest Gunston is worth a shout. Stronger recent average than Monty at least and will be guaranteed better supply than Lynch (who I like as a pick).

Why would teams rest players when they have a rest in 4 weeks time?

Went Monty in the end. Happy with the trade.

Teams still rested last year if I recall correctly.

Depends on how banged up the player is. I'm expecting Goldy to miss at least one of the next four matches as he's clearly carrying something.

Hawthorn are pretty much the only team which has the option of resting guys since they are 2 games clear and will finish on top of the ladder. For the rest of teams 2-7 they have to stick it out.

WCE tried resting a guy last week and they lost, its risky to rest guys against teams that aren't Brisbane or Essendon. Enright probably gets a week off in the next fortnight as well.

Just for a laugh, here's how old Zaka has gone in RDT after his hot start.

    R1-6 avg 109.2
    R7-13 avg 87.3
    R15-19 avg 62.5

Now priced at $375k. I am not at all advocating that anyone bring him, that would be madness. Just highlighting how far he's fallen.

^further highlights the risk that goes with picking unproven premiums.

He wasn't tagged on the weekend either. He's just become a very poor footballer.

Which is a shame as he burned so bright in those opening rounds.

    From Beveridge's presser:

Dale Morris should be fine this weekend and Matty Boyd's had a good week. Suckling might be touch and go.
