Probably would grab Tippett up forward and flex him in. Petracca on the field instead of a donut is going to be 5ppg over the season added to Tippett's season average straight away (hopefully).

For Stef owners it would allow you to deal out Stef next week or the week after for a forward instead of another ruckman if he doesn't turn it around.

I assume most considering Tippett are talking SC rather than DT?

Not necessarily. In DT he's averaging 93 and North play on the Friday night. Contingencies can be put in place.

More likely to take Tippett in RDT where he's competing to be the 2nd best ruck with Gawn.

SC he's a fair way off the pace. Would only act as cover there.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I chose Goetz. I thought he was F/R. But he's only ruck. So I can't even grab a Tippett and switch him in. Bit of a brain fade that.
This post was more than likely SC based.
If in doubt, assume it was.

I have goetz as well in sc.
Choose him because he was the cheapest option that worked well with loopholing your captain the first 6 or 7 rounds.

I did one worse and chose Archie Smith - handcuffed to SMartin and good for loopholing but does nothing else and wasn't even base priced!

Yeah, that was the reasoning for picking him. But I could have sworn he was F/R.

I guess my 'issue' as such is bringing Tippett in as a forward, if he's coming in it has to be for Martin which I think would be the plan although kind of read it a little differently with what you said earlier in regards to Currie > Michael and upgrading fwd > Tippett. Maybe you don't have Martin but if you didn't, do you really then want to bring in Tippett when you already have two premium rucks which then forces Tippett to be an F6?

Like he's currently averaging better then Robinson/Kerridge/Petracca/couple of other popular premium forwards but not sure that would be the ideal plan.

Forever worry about him maintaining his average for the entire season but I suppose he's playing in a better position to do so compared to what he has in the past.

Posted in another thread on it but you only need Tippett to allow you to cover two donuts in the rucks with a rookie scoring 60ppg to break even with the guys scoring at an F6 level from here on out, assuming Tippett maintains current pace. The positive is Tippet's last 5 average is actually on pace to be a genuine F6 and our schedule opens up quite nicely from here.

If Goldy is missing, he is a legitimate option this week as it would be one of those donuts up front and if you've got a Petracca type covering there is potential that replacement could be an 80+ score.

If you have Martin and are planning to dump him then grabbing Tippett this week could be an option that allows you to dump Martin to a forward instead (this is only really viable in DT where Tippett is scoring premium ruck levels) and you avoid a donut in the meantime.

no interest in s mitchell in this forum or anywhere else for that matter, despite being absurdly cheap. is mitchell carrying an injury thats putting people off. hawks have a fairly easy run home and youd think he'd score well.

It would be bringing Tippett in as a forward this week and then trading Stef either at his bye, or the week before to a forward, and moving Tippett into the R2 slot.

One thing worth noting though is that for the GC v Sydney game on Saturday, the current BOM forecast is for 30-80mm of rain on the Saturday, which probably doesn't help Tippett.

Tippett plays surprising well in the wet.
