Good excuse to bring in S.Gray I think who I was probably more bullish on in the preseason.

    Yeah, I think you're right.

The other question for me is who I go for - I have Merrett and Hall, so who else in the same price range is looking the goods? Only really a midpricer in Gray.

Paul Roos has said that OMac is doubtful to play this week.

    Good call on Robinson @Wogitalia

Think I may be moving him on in RDT. Very few calves end up being 1 weekers.

Would be looking at Zerrett or Sam Gray personally.

I'm looking at Elliot Yeo. The bac/fwd flex is so handy.

He's basically been listed as round 2-3 for about a month now, given the lack of updates I'm guessing that has become 3.

Richards and McGlynn both starred in the reserves apparently on the weekend, Richards will come in for Talia who's out for 2+ months (would have anyway) so no threat to the rookie priced guys. McGlynn I reckon will get another game in the reserves with how we played (basically all the borderline guys played great so would be super harsh to drop one for a game that should be a comfortable win) and his soft tissue history.

I'm assuming you already have Hall. My dilemma is between Hall and Gray. Both had superb roles.

M White with a complete tear of the pec muscle, won't return until rnd 14 at the earliest.

opens the door for the either A Young or J Toumpas.

    (RDT)

Instead of Gray etc anyone thinking of trading in a backline player instead of a fwd? Not keen on starting the Essendon cheap backs on the field, thinking something like this...

Robinson to Sheridan moving Brown/Adams fwd
Maybe with the extra cash upgrade tippa to Weitering

(my Backline will be Bartel, Birchall, Johannisen, Sheridan, McKenzie, Weitering - Dea,Adams
    and
Fwd line of - Barlow, Dahlhaus, Hall, Wells, Kerridge, Menadue- Brown/McCarthy)

    Re: Injury News

Depends how you've structured your forward rookies but if you have a Menadue type to come on, it's the better option imo.

    Re: Injury News

    don't agree

Weitering at 220k isn't a better option, when you've already got Dea as a starter.

Fair enough to consider taking one defender off the field, but you'd be spending 100k to move Dea from a starter to Weitering which would really not be worth it.

Yeah wasn't really sold on adding Weitering in for RDT with already Dea there, but very keen on adding in that extra back for Robinson.
