Griffin's an OK handcuff with Sandi.

Or Leuey has the #1 gig by default and will score something each week at least, he's actually been looking a little bit better each week which is what you'd hope given he had no preseason.

    Re: X vs Y vs Z

Been offered Westhoff, Hunter and Mackie in my ultimate footy draft league.
For Wingard, Josh P Kennedy and Enright.
Think I'm slightly losing out here but considering it as I'm struggling at the moment.
He has Hall and Montagna in his forwards and Savage, Mackay and Dea in his backs so I'm not sure if I can swap anything for his other players to get this trade over the line. Thoughts? Would love help I'm on the bottom at the moment

I think that's a net loss for you, is it a keepers league?

Someone's trying to buy low on Wingnut, and sell high on Hunter.

Yeah I think you have 2 of the 3 best players there. Their singular player isn't guaranteed to hold scoring either.

    Wouldn't do that deal personally.

I'd be wanting Montagna instead of Hoff to think about doing that deal. He's basically trying to buy low on JPK and Wingard, who are just coming good and upgrade his defender as a bonus.

Ok sorry guys but another question for my ultimate footy draft league. Copped another injury. Baguley. I'm so cooked. Season has been a nightmare.
Only defenders left in the waiver are: Roberton, Trengove, Brown, Mackay, Lonergan, Sutcliffe, McGovern, Sheppard, Wellingham.
    Yuck I know.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks .

ive got Trengove in my UF draft league and he hasn't been too bad. If he keeps playing ruck he will give the odd decent score.

Gawn v Pendles as SC Captain today.

Pendles is in red hot form but Vince has been doing some good tagging jobs in recent weeks and in the past few games v Coll has gone to Pendles keeping him to scores around the 100 mark. Gawn hasn't done much better v the Pies.

Leaning Gawn just for the pure upside if he goes ham.

    Pendles is the safe play.

Collingwood have brought in Witts, which I imagine is largely to combat Gawn (Dogs used 3rd man up to great effect against him).

Pendles was my 2nd choice behind Danger (ultimately Neale was so terrible as VC that I didn't want to risk getting stuck with his score!).

    Re: X vs Y vs Z

The difficult thing with Gawn is working out when he'll go big. Of course some were against Trengove,Currie which were to be expected, but the game against Goldy was out of nowhere. That being said, he's also had 2 shockers against WB and Bris, with the Bris one perhaps being the most surprising. It's also interesting to note that Collingwood brought in Witts this week so now have two genuine ruckmen. In their earlier game this year, Grundy went basically alone against Gawn with Gawn winning the battle but only a low 100's score.

On Pendles, Melbourne have been pretty good in recent weeks at not allowing big scoring against them. Essendon early in the season and the Bulldogs more recently have gone big against Melbourne but in general they've been okay. Pendles is in good form though, 100+ every game bar the first one and 118 is his lowest tally in the past 5. You're right that his recent record against Melbourne is similar to Melbourne's general record this year which is low 100's.

Looking at it, I now see my mistake in not taking Danger cpt this week. Both look likely to post 90-120 type scores. Personally, I'm going with Pendles as I really don't like the fact that Collingwood have brought in a second ruckman (Bris did likewise with West).

    Re: X vs Y vs Z

Got one last waiver question about my ultimate footy draft league. One win off bottom so need to come home strong the last few rounds.
My midfield has: Jpk, Priddis, Ward, Wines, Josh Kelly. Only 4 score one on the bench.
Keen to add the best mid as there isn't anything in terms of backs or forwards. Can use that mid or trade for a defender or something.
Mids available are: Mundy, ISmith, Dal Santo, Murphy, caddy, Hanley, Rischitelli, Gibson. So a few interesting options but no idea at this stage.
Would love any advice. Thanks heaps!
