Tough one. I think Gawn on potential but it depends on how much other risk in the side. I worry about him missing games, something Jacobs hasn't traditionally done.

Mine's an extension of the rookies dillemma for SC.

If I take Hewett I can only take a base ruck (currently Goetz)
If I take Dunkley I can take Grimley, Cox, Archie Smith types.

Is the chance of R3 playing at some stage worth changing rookies. Also, from a loophole perspective, almost all the other R3 options lock out this morning.

Sam Jacobs vs Max Gawn (&30k)
    DT
Gawn almost needs a Tippett or Leuenberger handcuff in the forwardline given his propensity for injury. So I'd lean Sauce based purely on that. Gawn probably averages more.
    Never bet against Tom Rockliff

I think it probably is worth going with the better R3, especially if you also get R/F on top of a higher playing chance.

Gaff, Parish, cheapest ruck v Mills, Oliver, Currie and $80k???

Could turn Gresham into Mills/Oliver as another option but would mean sticking with dunkley

Think I need a shake up early in my draft league. (Ultimate Footy)

    FORWARD
I have Fasolo - but thinking of swapping to Mav Weller or Lew Taylor. Checked their heat maps from the weekend and both played up the ground a bit and had around 115 game time mins. Faz may turn out ok in better matches but he had no chance vs the swans, the pies had no forward structure.

    BACKS
I have Bugg - again think I need to swap despite playing Essendon this week. He didn't look good on the w/e. Would love to hear if people have confidence though then I'll keep.
Options are - Lonergan - good mid time and finds the footy although it was an easy game. Clancee Pearce my other option or Jasper Pittard who I had last year but looks to have improved.

Love to hear thoughts after a close rd 1 loss. Cheers!

    Lonergan IMO in the backs.

Out of the three forwards you've listed, I'd probably stick with Fasolo. I don't think Collingwood will be that terrible again.

Traditionally, Parker hasn't been able to sustain premium+ scoring for a whole season. Tom Mitchell will score at a super premium level. Parker is also more susceptible to injury due to the way he plays, diving headfirst on the ball etc. The price difference makes it a tough call though...

Hey Guys, I am in an ultimate footy league which works on Dream Team scoring... I have no idea about DT as I only do SC. Its a league where every player is unique, you do a draft before round one and can then trade players with other league members. My question is this.. I have Rockliff and a guy is willing to take Rockliff and give me Hanneberry. I would do it if it was SC but im not sure of the DT scoring. Thoughts?

What's your cover like for Rocky?

Short term Hanners will be better but once Rocky gets his fitness back the 2nd half of the year he has the potential to out score everyone by miles.
Also do you have captains on in your league as Rocky benefits a lot from that too.

Cover is good Elvs, I have brought Will Langford on for Rocky. You would pick Langford in normal DT or SC but in this type of league he's not a bad back up. Averageing 103 at the moment. And yes we do have captains, I can run with Zerrett, Griffin, Armitage or Neale as captain while Rocky is out. I think with what you said about Rocky being able to outscore everyone by miles that makes me lean towards holding him. Thanks Elvs

I agree with elvs, but you also need to weigh up your goals. Rocky has had a number of interrupted seasons, he's broken down after 2 weeks. Hanners hasn't missed that many games. Sometimes you need to take the hit to win.

Maybe try and swing something extra. Have you got a startable forward on the bench? Offer Rocky and forward for Hanners and a back, for example.

Good plan nothing. I will have a look at some options. Thanks

My rucks are a struggle in my draft league. Had Sandilands and Lobbe but both are cooked.
Looking for a replacement in the waiver. Not much there. Best of a bad bunch options are: Leuenberger, Cegler, Griffin (then there's Sinclair, Z Smith, Hampson, Currie, Witts). Not even Campbell is available
