Mitch Robinson & Daniel Howe vs. Aaron Hall & Jesse Lonergan

Tough one because Robinson should be a keeper. Hall MAY be a keeper but he also may not score as well as expected with Ablett and Prestia back in the team.

Like the first option and basically for the exact reason you've said.

Not sure how to rate Lonergan/if he's much ahead of Howe but I wouldn't view him as a great chance of becoming a keeper.

    Re: X vs Y vs Z

I've gone Libba and Hall. S o the correct answer is probably Crouch and Robbo.

It's hard to tell how Libba will come back from an ACL but he was pretty strong SC player prior to the knee so I think I'd pick him ahead of Crouch on that basis (maybe Crouch takes it to another level but ata this stage Libba has shown a lot more in SC).

    Re: X vs Y vs Z

Robbo > Hall but Hall has the capabilities to at least even that matchup in SC.

Libba > Crouch but both somewhat unknown scoring level early in the season. Given Libba has only had 1 injury and Crouch has had some ongoing issues, I think Libba stays ahead, even if his preseason form wasn't that great.

Overall, I'm leaning Hall + Libba in SC (opposite in DT), just because I worry a bit about Crouch getting through a season and Libba has 2 years of keeper/premium level SC scoring behind him. It's a very close matchup though. The extra $20k for Hall + Libba could be handy in getting a slightly better rookie but not by much.

    Re: X vs Y vs Z

I could always move DeGoey to the mids and swap him for the one of Crouch/Libba that I don't have.

Someone talk me in to/out of it. Lockout can't come quick enough.

I can't talk you out... I've got all of Hall, Robinson, Crouch and Libba in my team... Hall for me is a defensive pick, I just don't rate him as a player but you can't argue with his scoring in recent times and he's in just about every side so I'm defending with him. The other 3 are all strong picks though, depends on overall structure though. De Goey, imo, is more likely to be a keeper than Crouch or Libba but I wouldn't back any of them to be keepers at the end of the day.

    Oliver/Parish vs Kennedy in SC.

Currently have Oliver over Kennedy but for memory Kennedy scored quite well in SC (forgot how cheap he was in this format). Kennedy would give me a link in the midfield to swap forward although it's probably pretty meaningless at this point.

Crouch and Robbo in DT, but probably a lot closer in SC. would still take Crouch and Robbo.

    Here's mine:

Dunkley vs Hewett. For my final mid spot. Scoring potential seems similar, as does job security.

I would go BKen, older body, less chance of being rested. We've also seen him score quite well when given the chance with Collingwood.
Oliver has really only put up 1 good game in the nab.

I think Hewett for scoring potential and age (longer in the system, body developed to an AFL level).

Sam Jacobs vs Max Gawn (&30k)
    DT
