    Re: Rucks

Sam Michael likely to be signed by Essendon (training with them today) he should be pretty cheap at rookie price one would think.

Would you pick him for a bench spot in the rucks or would you rather a non-scoring player for loopholes (capt picks etc) ?

also while Jamar is only part time ruck coach at Ess he wasn't at training today you think this is a sign his not playing on this season or could even be headed to Port?

Is there a way to get ownership stats of each positions or only the players in your side?

Not positions. Can do by alphabetical order, price or team they play for.

Full pre season for Sandi also, apparently in fantastic shape. Although the Sandi/Griffin combo is quite likely this season imo, Griff doing a lot of training with the forwards.

Lewy most popular ruck, I'm sorry but can't help but at that.

    Isn't Leuey already injured?
This post was more than likely SC based.
If in doubt, assume it was.

Does anyone else assume that they will put a premium on the top-up Essendon players. So that they aren't just a gimme?

    Re: Rucks

Liking the idea of Sam Michael at Ess. Would double as ruck and KPP support which could allow us to pick 3 KPPs rather than just the two + Jamar. Good chance he would be being looked at even if Jamar does end up signing.

Having a look at his season in the NEAFL last year, played a good chunk of the year forward which helps his cause. You'd think given they've flown him in to train from QLD he must be a good chance.

Certainly hope Max or Mitchell King don't end up becoming a ruck option for Melbourne this year. Both have the same name (M.King), same price, same positions (ruck/fwd). Could see a lot of people trading in the wrong one if it happened that one was named.

Sandi's selection doesn't seem low at all to me. It's been 5 years since he put up premium numbers and played at least 14 games and at his age it's hard to predict that his durability or his scoring are likely to get better (admittedly last two years his durability has been much better, good even). It's not impossible he improves but given other options out there the fact anyone is picking him is interesting. Basically you've got Goldy who has proven to be 15 points better than Sandi's best, Martin who has pretty much matched it and has certainly got upside potential given his style, Jacobs who costs less, has better durability and has a better best season, NicNat is cheaper with an equal best season and again more reason to believe he could improve it, Blitz has a lot of upside also at that price range and Mumford has shown the potential to go massive when he is fit... though that's proven an elusive task.

Basically Sandi makes the least sense of that group to expect to go 115+ which is really what you're aiming for in that group, not a long history of 34 year olds having career years.

Surely it's easy to tell either by the green dot (if trading before they play) or their average (if they have played). It looks bad now but in practical terms the only way it's an issue is if you want to start one and they're not selected round 1, otherwise it strikes me as something that would require intention to actually mess up... (I'm almost certainly giving the Australian public too much credit here...)

They should seriously fix that so they have their 1st names on the player box. It is bloody confusing.

    Re: Rucks

I think Sandilands would be a better option in RDT as a POD rather than SC, same could be said about Lobbe for RDT as well.

Agreed, moreso noting he is in great shape with a full pre-season behind him for anyone thinking of taking a risky POD.

I'm fully on the Goldy + Martin lock load and forget bandwagon.

I had Jacobs and Goldy last year and although Jacobs had a pretty good year every week it hurt to see the numbers Stef was putting up. Gotta have the best of the best in every position.
