Adelaide going without Crouch (as expected but still a big concern, imo) or Hampton basically so should get a decent look at their overall structures and where guys line up. Sloane playing is nice, legitimate option in both formats for mine.

Port have basically gone without their midfield, including Lobbe (not a good sign for him at all).
Not too concerned about these 3 missing just yet, most teams don't go full out in the first round, would expect to see them in the next couple of matches - if not then I'll get worried/begin to question the pick a little.

Read someone from North saying they want to play Wells in back-to-back preseason games, so you can expect him to play in the 2nd and 3rd games against Coll and Haw. North have next weekend off so this is probably a time to do more intense training.

    Might as well.
This post was more than likely SC based.
If in doubt, assume it was.

    Re: 2016 Nab Challenge

    From what I saw:

Hawks - Lewis, Mitchell and Hodge all look to have come back in great shape, Hodge spent a fair bit of time behind the ball and his skills were sublime. Howe obviously impressed, 12 marks in the end suggests he was quite loose he had a lot of uncontested footy. Birchall looks the goods, same old Birch and definitely saw him line up at a couple of centre bounces.

Blues - Looked alright at times, they are looking to move the footy down the corridor and quickly from defence. Kerridge lock him in! Gibbs' role was locked in midfield however he scored quite dissapointingly. Daisy Thomas did some very nice things, back on my radar!

    Re: 2016 Nab Challenge

Only saw the first 20 minutes before I had to go out.

Carlton were well and truly on top early without really hammering on the score, guess it's much the same as last year where they come out alright in the first quarter before dropping right off. That being said, it's only a practice match and against the top side.

Kerridge looked to be getting a lot of it early and tackling well (28 touches and 8 tackles is very nice, needs some marks to boost his average though).

Thomas' first kick looked to have some real penetration on it, nice and low as well, might possibly be in the best shape he's been in since he was at Collingwood? At his price, gotta be worth watching for the rest of the pre season.

Not fantasy relevant (I don't think) but I thought Phillips looked alright in the first quarter.

    Andrew Gallucci 17
    Liam Jones 10
    Charlie Curnow 7

Bolded the fantasy relevant ones (even though some are premiums so not really relevant.)

I don't like calling locks but Kerridge certainly one of a few locks this year. Daisy played pretty well, still someone to consider at his price. Gibbs was pretty disappointing with his score, TOG would be nice for a lot of these players. Byrne fumbled a few times, I don't think he'll be in our 22 any time soon personally. Wright could be playing in the bottom end of our 22, probably not going to score well though, will be up forward a lot.

not sure what it would take to put daisy back on the radar, but if he's fit must be hard to ignore.

    Thanks div

Whiley only played first half, did score and play well, I am assuming he's awkwardly priced which is a shame. (Yep, 270K)

Pretty low TOG for Byrne but his glaring fumble was pretty early and cost us a goal. Doubt he would have got dragged for the rest of the game for that, but possible.

Very interesting the big difference in rotations used between the two subs.

Did the umpires call many more deliberate out of bounces? Noticed that's been talked about a bit over the past couple of days, if they do become harsher on that/removing throw ins then it could potentially hurt the output of ruckman a little.
