Probably not a hands on role for each. Might be a dedicated doctor assessing them and the club ones might ask questions of the doctor/player.

    Kevin Sheehan@AFL_Shifter

Jonathan Marsh sizzles over 20 m in the 2nd best time ever of 2.78 seconds at the Draft Combine : that's an X factor ! #nabaflu18s
    Pretty impressive for a KPF.

Ben Brown of Werribee (VFL) best in agility so far with 8.29 seconds at NAB AFL Draft Combine.
Think they haven't done most of the mids yet, but an 8.29 would have placed him 3rd at last year's combine which is very impressive for a KPF/ruck. That alone will get him a decent draft position I think.

192cm WA fwd Jon Marsh clocks 2.78s for the 20m sprint. Think that's the second fastest behind Joel Wilkinson (2.75). Beats Hill and Pearce.

Nathan Freeman runs a 2.81 for the 20-metre sprint. 5th best in #AFLCombine testing.

Dandenong Stingrays midfielder/forward Billy Hartung has smashed Bradley Hill's beep test record, running an incredible 16.6. Huge performance.

Hill's score, which he set in 2011, was 16.1.

Josh Kelly also ran a 15.6, which in most years would be a great run.

Dom Sheed posted a 3.00 flat in the 20 metre sprint which was the 3rd fastest of all the WA boys. The knock on him was his perceived lack of pace, not too bad at all in reality.

So the WA team are snails? . Not overly surprising they didn't do brilliantly at the champs with that. I mean 3 isn't overly slow, but it's certainly not lighting, so you wouldn't want that to be a place getting time for a state.

I'm with PVC...WTF does 3rd fastest of the WA boys even mean as a stat?

Guys what are the chances of Crouch slipping through to 17? I really really want him.

    Re: 2013 AFL Draft thread

I think he's most likely to go in the early-mid first round, i.e. 6-12 or so, probably not early than 5 at most and only a small chance of dropping out of the top 15. Of course there are always sliders in every draft and it's possible he could be one. He's mainly known for his inside work and what type of midfielder a team needs/wants will really determine how high he's picked.

My guess is the 10-15 range but may get lucky.

    Re: 2013 AFL Draft thread

    Thanks very much.

I haven't read a great deal on him, but he seems like he'd be the perfect replacement for a guy like Brad Sewell as that permanent extractor.
