More BF ripping. This thread is from Lachie Neale's manager. His previous 2 have been fascinating reads.

    From Freo's intraclub today:

    Nick Rynnewrites:

If we were going off what we've seen today I would say Michael Walters will spend the vast majority of his time in the midfield this season. He's been too good in there and the other small forwards have done enough in his absence.

Interesting take away from the latest injury report

Weber gave a positive update on Connor Blakely, who injured his hamstring during training in late January.“Connor is really on target,” Weber said.
“He’s back to running and progressing very well, so we anticipate a strong return to AFL in the early rounds.”
Blakely to be back a lot sooner than we originally thought by the sounds of that.

Fremantle’s general manager of football Peter Bell has provided an update regarding Jesse Hogan’s playing availability.

“Jesse will not be available for selection for Sunday’s game against North Melbourne at Optus Stadium while he focuses on his personal management of clinical anxiety,” Bell said.

“The club has been aware of Jesse’s clinical anxiety and has wrapped the appropriate support measures around him and will continue to do so.

“Jesse continues to train very hard on the training track and he will continue to train with the team, but his clinical anxiety can lead to him making poor decisions around alcohol consumption and, therefore, impact his health and wellbeing.

“Jesse made poor choices around alcohol consumption on Saturday evening prior to our training run at Optus Stadium on Sunday and as a result he did not take part in training.

“Jesse’s circumstances have been shared with club leaders and the player leadership group.
“The club and our playing group are united in continuing to provide all the necessary ongoing support to Jesse, and we are not putting a time frame on his return to playing.”
Hopefully Hogan isn't heading down the Sylvia path.

Heard be lost his wallet at some event on Rottnest Island with some things that probably shouldn't have been in there.
Dont have any hope for Freo this season and Hogan is one of the reasons why.
Hopefully this isn't anything serious though

There are a solid dozen rumours on Hogan for these kinds of things.

Genuinely concerning because 1 or 2 would be something but a dozen isn't even smoke, you can see the actual flames.

Alex Pearce out for the season with a fractured ankle

Some blokes just can't catch a break. May open the door for Griffin Logue to get a game however.

Thoughts on Bewley? Is he going to be in the team post bye or pretty unsure? Think Hill is close to a return and Bennell is pushing hard.

Speaking of which, Bennell at 199/167k DT/SC is going to be a pretty interesting option if his calf can hold it together for a couple of games to become an option.

Re: Random Fremantle News & Info

I think Bewley would need to do a fair bit in his next game. What he has done has been OK but has gone missing a lot. As you say, with others returning I don't want to be relying on him. If I'm going early I think really early on Clarke or Gardner is better.
